Teachers Vacancy

Positions: 2 (One for Science and one for Social Science and Languages)

Location: Zakia Begam Remedial Centre, Panth Foundation, Purkaji, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh

About the Zakia Begam Remedial Centre:

The Zakia Begam Remedial Centre is one of Panth Foundation’s initiatives to support students, particularly girls, who have experienced interruptions in their education. A student returning to school after a gap may not be at the same academic level as her peers. She may have missed important concepts, lost confidence in her ability to learn, or require additional time and attention to catch up.

The Centre therefore provides intensive remedial academic support to students of Classes 9–12, helping them bridge learning gaps, regain confidence and continue their education.

About the Role:

We are not simply looking for someone who can teach a subject. We are looking for an educator who believes that education can change the direction of a person’s life and further build a self-resilient society. who wants to be part of that change. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, but equally important, will have the patience, empathy and commitment to work with students who may need more time, encouragement and individual attention.

You may find that a student does not understand a concept that most students her age are expected to know. You may need to explain the same concept in different ways, go back to foundational topics, encourage a student who has lost confidence, or simply tell her that she can do it.

  • Fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge and a genuine commitment to education may also be considered.

Why This Role Matters:

This role is about more than teaching Science, Mathematics, English or another subject. You could be the teacher who helps a girls realise that the learning gap she has today does not have to determine her future. By helping her understand what she missed, regain confidence in her ability to learn and stay connected to education, you will be contributing to a larger mission — helping girls who have dropped out return to education and creating the opportunity for them to build a better future.

If you believe that teaching is not just a profession but an opportunity to change lives through education, we would like to hear from you.

What You Will Gain From This Role:

Working with Panth Foundation is an opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a mission that creates meaningful change in the lives of young people. Along with a competitive salary and employee benefits, including medical insurance, the role will provide you with an opportunity to:

  • Be part of a meaningful mission to bring girls who have dropped out of school back into education and support them in continuing their academic journey.
  • Gain hands-on experience in community-based education and remedial learning, working directly with students and families.
  • Develop strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills through regular interaction with students, parents, community members and the programme team.
  • Learn how to understand different learning needs, solve problems at the grassroots level and adapt your approach to real-world situations.
  • Work closely with the Centre Manager and programme team, providing exposure to programme implementation, monitoring and community engagement.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by students from underserved communities and how education can be used as a pathway to greater opportunity.
  • Build experience that can support your future growth in education, development, social impact and community-based programmes.

Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to see the impact of your work directly — from helping a student overcome a learning gap to watching her regain confidence and continue her education. At Panth Foundation, we believe that while you help a student move forward, the experience also helps you grow as a professional and as an individual.
