Adolescent girls, especially from marginalized communities in India, often face barriers that extend beyond access to education. Limited exposure, restrictive social norms, and gender stereotypes prevent many girls from participating in decision-making roles. As a result, they often lack the confidence, awareness, and agency to express their views, pursue opportunities, and advocate for themselves.
Without opportunities to build leadership skills, girls remain excluded from spaces that shape their education, rights, and future pathways, limiting both their personal growth and their ability to contribute meaningfully within their families and communities.
To address this gap, Panth Foundation implements a Leadership Development Program focused on building confidence, life skills, and agency among adolescent girls. The program creates safe and supportive spaces where girls can learn, reflect, and grow as leaders.
Through structured capacity-building, mentorship, and experiential learning, Panth strengthens essential leadership competencies and builds awareness on critical issues such as gender equality, child protection, digital literacy, cyber safety, domestic violence, constitutional rights, civic participation, and access to public services.
By investing in leadership development, Panth enables girls to recognize their potential, make informed decisions about their education and future, and actively participate in their communities. Through this program, Panth is nurturing a generation of young women who are confident, resilient, and prepared to lead change within their families and society.
